Summary: We are excited to expand our C&I Business Development and Strategic Partnerships team to include a Business Development Officer position. This role will be a creative, highly visible, multi-faceted and cross-functional role that will drive growth within Blue Foundry Banks C&I Business Development and Strategic Portfolio of Partners.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
3-5 years’ experience in ABL, cashflow and/or SBA lending (non-bank or bank)
5+ years of highly successful sales experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or finance, MBA preferred, strong understanding of accounting and finance
An MBA from a top tier school would also be considered
Strong understanding of ABL and cash flow loan products and underwriting metrics
Deep relationships in the business lending space (Accountants, attorneys, outsourced CFOs, lower middle market investment banks etc)
Ability and experience in structuring deals, build solid networks
Ability to analyze financials, understand businesses and communicate and synthesize analysis to various stakeholders
Experience speaking to CEOs and CFOs of SMEs to understand their business, perform a needs analysis and recommend appropriate financing solutions for their business
Demonstrated and proven expertise in developing partner relationships and channel programs
A background in financial services required with experience with a preference for ABL, Factoring or cashflow lending
