Summary: Primarily responsible for recruitment and onboarding. Completes a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR Department to include payroll processing and benefit administration. Assists in the implementation of the Affirmative Action Program and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion education. Participates in the developing and revision of policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws and regulations. Provides counseling and guidance to staff and supervisors on work-related matters.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
SHRM certificate and/or a bachelor’s degree in human resource, business management; or minimum of five years of progressive experience in Human Resources
Current working knowledge of employment and labor laws, recruitment, payroll, and benefit administration
Excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
Leadership and coaching skills to mentor and influence others
Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking
Strong technical skills, including intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Sharedrive, LinkedIn Talent Search Tools, ADP Payroll and HRIS systems
