Summary: Process and pre-underwrite Conventional, Government, Agency, Private Investor and Portfolio residential 1-4 family mortgage loan applications.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years’ experience in processing and pre-underwriting 1-4 family mortgage loans for sale in the secondary market or held in portfolio but of saleable quality
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Loan Origination Systems, Automated Underwriting Systems and Investor portals
Detailed knowledge and understanding of federal and state laws and regulations applicable to residential mortgage lending, the bank’s lending practices and secondary market guidelines
Ability to create and maintain departmental procedures relating to processing and pre-underwriting functions
