Summary: The Processing Center Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional levels of external and internal service while handling a range of financial transactions. This individual creates a positive, engaging, and seamless experience for customers interacting with the bank through Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). Ensures the accurate and efficient processing of customer requests/transactions received via mail, email or fax, as well as third party asset verifications. Supports a variety of operational functions; processes IRA and special account related transactions, including rollovers, transfers, plan contributions/distributions, as well as internal transactions for various bank departments.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
A minimum of two years retail banking experience, with comprehensive knowledge of retail banking transactions and operations
Availability to work early morning, evening, and/or Saturday shifts depending on business needs
Proficiency in core system functionality; including account maintenance functions, transaction processing, account opening, and complex account research
Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, collaboration, internal/external service delivery, organizational, follow-up, prioritization, and time management skills
Proven supervisory, interpersonal, and decision making skills
Extensive experience in creating positive customer experiences
Strong knowledge of general banking, including understanding of Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) (including advanced transaction processing, regulations, and IRS rules), bank products, services, regulations, policies and procedures
