Summary: File review and underwrite Purchased Loans.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five years' experience in processing and pre-underwriting 1-4 family mortgage loans for sale in the secondary market or held in portfolio but of saleable quality
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good organizational skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 365, Loan Origination Systems, Automated Underwriting Systems and Investor portals
Detailed knowledge and understanding of federal and state banking laws and regulations applicable to residential mortgage lending, the bank's lending practices and secondary market guidelines
Ability to create and maintain departmental procedures relating to purchase loan review
