Melanie Pellegrino has 6 years of experience in the banking industry, joining Blue Foundry Bank in 2018 as a part-time teller, working her way up to a Floating Assistant Manager position before taking on her current role as Associate Regional Sales Manager. In her role, Melanie is responsible for working with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure the retail team is focused on growing the bank’s deposits, which entails managing internal and external partnerships, implementing sales initiatives and campaigns to assist the branches in driving deposits, and driving employee participation to ensure all corporate strategic objectives are attained. Melanie is passionate about Blue Foundry Bank because of its unique ability to react to change and make decisions more quickly than the competition. Sharing ideas over a cup of coffee can lead to an idea turning into a project and being implemented very quickly. Melanie loves working at a bank that appreciates feedback from both employees and customers and wants to succeed by creating, problem solving and working together. Melanie earned her bachelor’s degree in dance performance and Choreography from Towson University.
