Blue Foundry Bank Adds Talented AVP to its Lending Team

Blue Foundry Bank boosts its lending team with new hire, Deya Matos. In her role as AVP, Residential Mortgage Closing Supervisor, Matos will work closely with her team to coordinate and effectuate residential, construction, and commercial mortgage loan closings. 

“Blue Foundry Bank is a dynamic organization that will allow an experienced mortgage closer, like me, the opportunity to grow not only as an individual but as a member of the team,” said Deya Matos. “I will be able to draw upon my comprehensive lending background as well as my organizational and interpersonal skills to help enhance the Blue Foundry customer loan experience.”

With a bachelor’s degree in political science and pre-law, Matos joins Blue Foundry Bank eager to provide a fresh perspective and years of industry experience at Weichert Financial Services and Kearny Bank. Linda Fisher, VP/Residental Mortgage Operations Team Leader said, “Deya’s expert knowledge, tireless work ethic, and passion to make a difference in her community align with Blue Foundry Bank’s core values making her a fantastic addition to the team.” 

Apart from her extensive work history, Matos’ philanthropic efforts extend to organizations like Eva’s Village and the Tim Tebow Foundation, as well as running in 5K races that support admirable causes. When she’s not volunteering and heading her department, she spends her free time cooking new recipes for her family and entertaining at her home in Passaic County, New Jersey.
