RUTHERFORD, NJ – June 21, 2022 –Blue Foundry Bancorp (Nasdaq: BLFY) (the “Company”), announced today that Alex Malkiman has been named as the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Blue Foundry Bank (the “Bank”), a financial institution that offers a full service, crafted banking experience.
Mr. Malkiman joins the Bank from CIFC Asset Management in New York, where he served as the Executive Director and Head of IT Infrastructure and Security. There, he worked closely with senior management to identify challenges around infrastructure and applications support and developed an infrastructure and public cloud strategy for the company.
In his new role, Mr. Malkiman will work with the Bank’s executive leadership team to develop its technology and product vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s ambitious business objectives.

Malkiman earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Brooklyn College, and later went on to earn a MBA in Information Systems Management and Financial Management from the Lubin School of Business a Pace University.
