Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation Awards $20,000 in Grants to Six New Jersey Nonprofits in Q1

PARSIPPANY, NJ – March 28, 2025 – Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation, Blue Foundry Bank’s foundation for supporting philanthropic efforts in New Jersey has continued working to make a difference, exemplifying what it means to give back to the community. The Foundation supports the efforts of organizations that fall under its four giving pillars: Affordable Housing, Education, Health and Human Services, and Youth Programs.

Blue Foundry Charitable Foundation has proved its commitment to the communities it serves, awarding $20,000 in grants in Q1 of 2025. The nonprofits awarded in the first quarter include:

Foundation for Sustainable Veteran Housing

Identifying, rebuilding and maintaining current veteran facilities across the country.

Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey

Strengthening and enhancing the well-being of all who call upon them by providing professional and compassionate human services to effectively meet life’s many challenges.

Roots & Wings

Providing safe housing, emotional support, life skills, and educational opportunities for youth aging out of foster care; empowering them to rise toward their greatest potential.

Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department

Preserving life and property, promoting public safety, and fostering community support through volunteerism, fundraising and collaboration.

Computers 4 People

Unlocking access to the digital world by refurbishing donated devices, teaching essential digital skills, and improving connectivity to bridge the digital divide and create opportunities for individuals and communities to thrive in the digital age.

Scouting America Patriots’ Path Council

Offering youths the opportunity to learn more about themselves in a fun and safe environment; giving them the skills they need to succeed at every stage of their lives.

In the first quarter, they collaborated with both Interfaith Food Pantry and Community Foodbank of New Jersey, organizing employee food drives and volunteering hours to package meals for those in need.
