Summary: The Business Development Leader manages a team of Business Development Bankers who are responsible for generating new deposits, business loan leads, Cash Management services, and other revenue income to Blue Foundry Bank. The principal role of the Business Development Leader is to encourage and guide the Business Development Bankers to meet with prospects, develop strong relationships in their respected marketplace, and close business. It’s essential that the Business Development Leader builds their own book of business by networking with Centers of Influence as well as local businesses, and high net worth Blue Foundry Bank customers or prospects, to assist them in maximizing their deposit portfolio.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Minimum of a four-year college degree and/or a minimum of 5 - 10 years related experience
Minimum 5 – 10 years of proven sales, leadership, marketing, and business development experience.
Well developed negotiation and account management skills
Versatile, flexible, and able to travel for meetings and training as required
Self-motivated and confident with the ability to multitask
Strong Center of Influence (COI) network – required
Experience in analyzing financial statements - required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong prospecting and sales skills
Well-developed negotiation and account management skills
