IT Compliance Analyst

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Summary: This role requires a knowledgeable and proactive IT compliance analyst to ensure regulatory compliance within our IT department. As an IT compliance analyst, duties will include training IT organization employees and partners on industry standards, developing IT policies, procedures and standards, coordinating internal and external audits and evaluating IT compliance. May be also required to obtain regulatory approval. Must possess extensive experience in advising technology organizations on industry requirements and standards. Accomplished IT compliance analysts are regulatory experts who lead their technology organizations toward excellence in compliance, possess extensive experience in advising technology organizations on industry requirements and standards. This role will be working with the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Blue Foundry Bank in ensuring the IT organization is fully compliant with FDIAC and all other regulatory banking boards and the IT organization operates to the highest standards possible.

Minimum/Essential Job Requirements: 

  • Industry-related Bachelor's degree and accredited compliance management certification, with high specialization on IT and security organizations

  • Experience as an IT compliance analyst preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of banking industry IT and Security compliance requirements and standards

  • Proficiency in compliance management software, like Paradigm 3 and Intellect Compliance

  • Exceptional ability to formulate IT compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation

  • Advanced analytical abilities

  • Effective research and professional networking skills

  • Ability to accurately complete applications for IT compliance certification

  • Ability to effectively train employees

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
