IT Systems Administrator

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Summary: Responsible for key systems and applications as part of the Bank’s enterprise technology. The IT Systems Administrator will fulfill the duties by collaborating with internal users and external vendors, senior management at the bank and working closely with the bank CTO. Will provide hands-on technical assistance to users at the bank, including remote branches.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • BS and/or 5-8 years of equivalent work experience.

  • 2-4 years of experience working in the financial sector, specifically in banking.

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT support services, hands on user support and applications.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.

  • Experience with managing and troubleshooting Windows, Apple Mac, and mobile devices.

  • Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Must present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.

  • Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail.

  • Fast learner and ability to continuously develop technology skills to stay current.

  • Team-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment. 

  • Maintaining and improving on internal processes related to technology and IT security.

  • Ability to provide technical knowledge transfer and training for internal users.
