Loan Servicing Assistant Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Summary:  Assists in directing the daily activities of the Loan Servicing Department to include tax escrow, ACH and Autopay, insurance policies and disbursements, loan payoffs, loan account on-line set up, E-Oscar credit disputes, ARM rate change reports, and supervision of staff which includes coaching and training, performance reviews, attendance tracking, and vacation coordination and approval.

Minimum/Essential Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Strong understanding of financial institution procedures as it relates to Mortgage Loan Servicing.

  • Minimum of eight years of experience in servicing residential and commercial loans.

  • Minimum of three years management/supervisory experience with demonstrative ability to lead others effectively.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external customers including corporate executives and senior management.

  • Firm comprehension of all mortgage products and services, policies, procedures, and related regulations including reporting and audit requirements.

  • Working knowledge of various electronic servicing portals (i.e. reporting, e-document filing and cancellation).

  • Must be self-directed, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, both on-site and remotely.

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems regarding a variety of financial activities.

  • Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy and exercise independent judgment in decision making.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, management, communication (both written and oral), analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Microsoft Office Applications proficiency is required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, One Note and Teams).

  • COCC operating system knowledge a plus.

  • Identifi imaging system knowledge a plus.
