Summary: This position will provide assistance to the Bank’s Compliance Department in various aspects of the overall Compliance Management System (CMS) and will work to ensure that the Bank complies with all applicable state or federal regulatory requirements.
Minimum/Essential Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or another directly related field.
Relevant three to five years of experience within a financial services industry, specifically relating to consumer compliance, and/or prior exposure to compliance management system (CMS) program requirements is preferred.
Professional and excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills to inform, inspire, and influence others in a clear and concise manner, confident, well-spoken, strong presence as subject matter expert.
Demonstrate commitment and accountability.
Possess sound decision-making ability and understanding of risk.
Comfortable using and adapting to new technology and shared data and content management systems, including the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft O365 suite, especially Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Ability to coach team members through the use of new systems as needed.
Working knowledge of federal and state bank compliance rules and regulations.
Prior supervisory experience (preferred).
Ability to develop tactical and strategic plans to enhance and extend existing (CMS) program capabilities and approaches.
Flexible, adaptive, resourceful, tactful, yet appropriately assertive when necessary.
Ability to effectively matrix manage business and support personnel across the enterprise.
