Blue Foundry Bank Continues to Give Back to the Communities it Serves

Blue Foundry Bank announced that it made Q3 2019 donations in excess of $59,500 to 123 local nonprofit organizations enrolled in its philanthropic Community Alliance Program (CAP), bringing the total payout since the program’s inception in 2006 to almost $4,000,000.

“Supporting the communities we serve is a core objective at Blue Foundry Bank,” said Debra Cannariato, SVP Marketing. “We take pride in knowing that donations received through the Community Alliance Program allow our member organizations to continue making a powerful and lasting difference in the markets we all live and work in.”

The Community Alliance Program offers nonprofit organizations, such as fire departments, animal shelters, education foundations, volunteer emergency squads and other civic-minded recreational and entertainment organizations a cost-free way to receive contributions. The program is simple: Individuals or businesses can support a CAP member organization by designating their eligible account(s) at Blue Foundry Bank. Once an enrolled nonprofit maintains at least 20 designated supporters, Blue Foundry Bank makes quarterly donations based on a percentage of the average daily balance of supporters’ accounts. All supporter information is kept strictly confidential and donations come directly from the bank.
