Our bank is committed to reducing the impact we have on the environment, having taken many steps to adjust our policies and practices to ensure that we operate more sustainably while reducing waste both at our branches as well as our administrative offices. In 2021, Blue Foundry Bank transitioned to paperless banking, digitizing all internal documents as well as customer documentation, simplifying our processes while reducing paper waste.
Our Administrative offices, as well as many of our branches feature environmentally conscious elements such as automatic smart shades, energy efficient glass, LED sensor lights and sensor faucets. All these elements in combination with the commitment of our team have helped us in our goal of becoming more ecologically sustainable while improving the customer experience for those we serve.
At our Administrative offices, we also operate on a hybrid work from home schedule, reducing the number of cars on the road that are making trips into the office, thus further reducing our Bank’s environmental impact.
